1.                 GENERAL SUPERVISOR

Key Job Description

  • He shall be responsible to Operations Team Leader and reports to COMPANY’s Site Representative.
  • He shall as CONTRACTOR’s representative at WORKSITE.
  • He shall plan and coordinate Construction and Painting Supervisors activities and their work programs.
  • He shall facilitate daily safety briefing by Construction and/or Painting Supervisors on the planned jobs with the crew.
  • He shall implementing and maintaining a safe working environment through adhering to correct working practices and procedures.  This includes maintaining good housekeeping at job site.
  • He shall ensure the tradesmen and the work activities are in compliance to PC(T)SB safety regulations.
  • Being conversant with all the requirements of PC(T)SB WORK PERMIT system and ensuring the compliance of his work crew with said system.  This will include the timely preparation and issuing of permits to ensure punctual work commencement and
  • He shall report daily achievement to PC(T)SB Representative.
  • He shall protect PC(T)SB asset issued to CONTRACTOR from pilferage, waste and abuse.
  • He shall discuss with PC(T)SB representative for the following daily plans.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore and onshore locations.
  • He must be familiar with both onshore and offshore construction operations and working conditions.  The work consists principally of field fabrication and welding of structural steel and the installation of piping, electrical systems and maintenance painting.  Also the work will involve the day-to-day scheduling and planning of PC(T)SB, personnel, consumables and MATERIAL to perform electrical, instrument, mechanical and painting work at WORKSITES.
  • He shall be capable of working safely and effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures at heights of above 30m (100 ft).

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years working experiences in Oil & Gas Industry of which have 5 years cumulative active experiences as Construction Supervisor or Painting Supervisor.
  • Have 10 years education background (Schooling)
  • He shall have, on other jobs, demonstrates his ability to independently plan and direct with work crew in an efficient performance of similar work.
  • He shall be capable of working from construction drawings and specifications.
  • He shall be familiar with onshore and offshore safe work procedures.  He shall be fluent in of speaking, writing and understanding of English language.

 

 

2.                 RIGGER / SCAFFOLDER FOREMAN

Key Job Description

  • He shall ensure that JHA is conducted and prepared for every job, and brief the crew prior to job execution.
  • He shall direct rigging crews and be responsible for rigging scaffolding and slings, shackles, fairleads, winches, lifting hoists and comealongs necessary for lifting, placing, positioning MATERIAL or PC(T)SB.
  • He shall ensure that his crew follows PC(T)SB safety regulation and his crew meets PC(T)SB safety standards.
  • He shall be able to plan and direct a work crew in efficient performance of similar work.
  • He shall be required at both offshore and onshore sites if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall lead heavy lifts operations, which normally be within the normal lifting capacity of the platform cranes.
  • He shall be capable of working safely and effectively from heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall supervise in installing valves, flanges, and blinds, as required to support pipe installation and hydrotesting.
  • He shall be required to support platform in handling vessel lines, mooring, cables blocks and splicing wire rope.
  • He shall, on the occasions when lifts in excess of platform crane capacities are necessary, be required with support from rigging crew to make such heavy lifts from support barges/ vessel.
  • He shall be a working foreman.
  • He shall be familiar with the PC(T)SB’s WORK Permit System and ensure that his crew is similarly informed.
  • He shall responsible to inspect erected scaffolding to ensure the scaffolding is erected safely for used according to BS standard.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 8 years working experience in Oil & Gas construction rigging of which 4 years cumulative active experiences as Rigger Scaffolder.
  • He shall have experience in both onshore and offshore construction operations, and be familiar with offshore and onshore facilities and working conditions.
  • He shall be knowledgeable of cranes, air tuggers, slings, winches, hoists, come-alongs, lifting equipment and all miscellaneous gear required to assist in the work.
  • He shall be knowledgeable the safe scaffolding erection method.
  • He shall be qualified and knowledgeable in the correct rigging technique necessary for the erection of structural steel, prefabricated piping spools, temporary platforms and scaffolding, pipe fittings, valves, confined space entry, heavy lifts and the miscellaneous assembly of heavy installation at both offshore and onshore sites.
  • He shall be certified to the British Standard (B.S) Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) or equivalent on scaffold erection and inspection.  He shall be capable of performing as well as supervising the work of his discipline and capable of conversing fluently in English.
  • He shall be able to understand written procedures specially issued for peculiar rigging activities.

3.                 BLASTING/PAINTING FOREMAN

Key Job Description

  • He shall be required at both Offshore and Onshore locations if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He hall be responsible for directing blasting/ painting crews in the blasting/ painting of structural steel, piping and other PC(T)SB’s onshore/ offshore facilities.
  • He shall ensure adequate and suitable masking and protection of no painted surfaces and PC(T)SB’s equipment/ facilities.
  • He shall be considered a working foreman.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures or confined space and at heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall responsible to inspect erected scaffolding to ensure the scaffolding is erected safely for used according to BS standard.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 8 years working experience in Oil & Gas construction painting of which have 5 years shall be as painter/ blaster.
  • He shall have experience in both onshore and offshore construction operations, and be familiar with offshore and onshore facilities and working conditions.
  • He shall be knowledgeable in blasting/ painting method.
  • He shall be industrially qualified to IMM Part I and Part II or equivalent
  • He shall be capable of performing as well as supervising the work of his discipline and capable of conversing fluently in English.

 

4.                 MECHANICAL FITTER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall be completely familiar with his trade which is principally involving field fabrication fitting and welding of piping, structural beams and supports and other modifications of primarily, but not limited to carbon steel process pipe, fittings, structural steel plates and rolled shapes.
  • He shall ensure optimum MATERIAL usage.
  • He shall be able to take site measurement, mark-out and fabricate according to provided drawings.
  • He shall ensure and diligently undertake to perform strictly in accordance with the standard and procedures established for the applicable code under which he is welding.
  • He shall be familiar with common welding defects and ways of preventing them.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore platforms and onshore facilities if required by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights up to 100 feet.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall be able to work in all positions, including work in confined space and have a good working knowledge of filler metals, base metals, joint preparations, welding techniques, preheat and post weld heat treatment.
  • He shall be experienced in drawings interpretation, marking, measurement, flame cutting and gouging and fit-ups.
  • He shall be qualified in fitter’s standard and welding in 6G positions.
  • He shall be certified to PC(T)SB requirements in fitting and welding in accordance to the following codes:

 

  1.       i.        ASME SECTION VII      -  Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
  2.      ii.        ASME SECTION IX       -  Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

  • He shall meet PC(T)SB fitter’s requirements as follows :

a)     Capability in drawings interpretation and recognizing MATERIAL to be used.

b)    Capability in site measuring piping or structures to be built.

c)     Capability in flame cutting and gouging, grinding and fit-up in accordance with given drawings.

 

5.                 WELDER ( MULTI – CODED )

Key Job Description

  • He shall be completely familiar with his trade which is principally involving field fabrication fitting and welding of piping, structural beams and supports and other modifications of primarily, but not limited to carbon steel process pipe, fittings, structural steel plates and rolled shapes.
  • He shall ensure and diligently undertake to perform strictly in accordance with the standard and procedures established for the applicable code under which he is welding.
  • Welders shall work in all positions and have a good working knowledge of filler metals, base metals, joint preparations, welding techniques, preheat and post heat, electrical characteristics, back gouging and essential variables applicable to welding code.
  • He shall be familiar with common welding defects and ways of preventing them.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore platforms and onshore facilities if required by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights up to 100 feet.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • He shall have 10 years schooling and 3 years cumulative active experience as welder
  • He shall be qualified and certified (6G or 6GR) for carbon steel, pipe of all diameters and wall thickness as well as structural steel, all shapes and positions included TKY joints.
  • He shall be experienced in coded welding and qualifying weld procedure specifications.
  • He shall be able to work in all positions, including confined space and have a good working knowledge of filler metals, base metals, and joint preparations, welding techniques, preheat and post weld heat treatment.
  • He shall be certified to PC(T)SB requirements in welding in accordance to the following codes:

6.                 WELDER ( CARBON STEEL )

 

Qualified as Welder (Multi – Coded) but limited to carbon steel only.

 

7.                 ELECTRICIAN

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall report to Electrical Foreman or Construction Supervisor.
  • He shall be completely familiar with the work consisting principally of running wire, cable, conduit for electrical facilities such as Alternators, Cables, Lighting Fixtures, Synchronous and Induction Motors, Auto Transfer Switch, Air Circuit Breakers, Motor Control Centers and Starters, Switchgears and various electrical installations including those associated with gas compression facilities.
  • He shall involve with the electrical work on operational platforms and onshore plants that requiring coordinated power shutdowns to tie-in new or modified installations into existing facilities.
  • He shall be completely familiar and able to operate with instruments allied to his trade, such as; Meggers, Voltmeters, Ohmmeters, Frequency Counters, Relay Calibration Sets, Wave Generators, Phase Sequence Meters and prepare/compile test reports for record purposes.
  • He shall work in accordance with PC(T)SB established safety procedures and practices.
  • He shall be completely familiar with the Work Permit System before starting on any work.
  • He shall be required to work at heights to 100 feet and should be physically fit and capable of climbing towers, vessels, cranes or other structures.
  • He shall be required for both offshore and onshore locations.

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall report to Construction Supervisor.
  • He shall work independently and safely with the minimum supervision in accordance with PC(T)SB established safety procedures and practices.
  • He shall be completely familiar with the Work Permit System before starting on any work.
  • He shall be able to interpret design drawing, manufacturer’s literature, manuals, direct and work with a crew of workmen, and implement the project or assignment in the most efficient and professional manner.
  • He shall make inventory list of MATERIAL for his assigned work in an accurate, clear and concise manner.
  • He shall be professionally familiar with MATERIAL down to the component level and capable of performing calibration pretest etc. on them.
  • He shall be required to work at heights to 100 feet and should be physically fit and capable of climbing towers, vessels or other structures.
  • He shall interpret design/ drawings, install, dismantle, troubleshoot/ analyze, calibrate, modify, commission handover to operating personnel all electronic/ pneumatic/ hydraulic open and closed loop control systems such as but not limited to the following:
  1.                                           i.    Fire and Gas Detection System
  2.                                          ii.    Halon Systems
  3.                                         iii.    Fusible Plug System
  4.                                         iv.    Wellhead Control Panel
  5.                                          v.    Level Controllers and Switches

  • He shall have enough experience to make minor modification and design changes, suggest component or module equivalents and confidently carry out such work.
  • He shall be able to prepare and compile test reports for record purposes.
  • He shall have good knowledge and concept of Hazardous Area Classification (NEC).
  • He shall be familiar and have a working knowledge of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification on Instruments and Control Systems RP550, National Electric Code and the Instrument Society of America (ISA) Standards and Practices for Instrumentation.  In addition, the incumbent is expected to familiarize himself with but not be limited to the following PC(T)SB specifications :

9.                 INSTRUMENT FITTER

Key Job Description

  • He shall work at offshore platforms and at onshore facilities if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall work independently and responsibly for but not limited to tubing installation, prepare tubing fittings and install tubing connections, perform leak test/checks, make and install supports and install instrumentation’s.
  • He shall work under a foreman’s direction in the routing, layout, cutting and fitting of structural steel and process pipe for new installation and in the modification of existing facilities.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures at heights of above 100 feet.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 5 years cumulative active experience as Instrument Fitter in offshore and onshore construction.
  • He shall be able to design, detail, fit, cut, route and install process piping including hookup of new facilities as well as modifications to existing facilities, including work in confined space.
  • He shall have a complete working knowledge of welding and piping codes and specifications and the ability to read construction drawings.
  • He shall be able to read and understand instrumentation and tubing’s drawings, applicable procedures and installation to industry standards.

 

10.           RIGGER SCAFFOLDER

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall work under a foreman’s direction in rigging per item (2) and scaffolding works.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures or in confined space and at heights of above 100 feet.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
    • He shall have 3 years cumulative active experience as Rigger Scaffolder.
    • He shall have the minimum qualification and experience, of a rigger as per item (12) and have qualified to erect scaffold per the British Standard (B.S) Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) or equivalent.

 

 

11.           RIGGER – FIREWATCH

Key Job Description

  • He shall work under a foreman’s direction in rigging per item (12) and as fire watch during welding, cutting and burning activities.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures or in confined space and at heights of above 100 feet.

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 3 years experience as Rigger Firewatch in offshore construction.
  • He shall have the minimum qualification and experience, of a rigger as per item (12) and have attended fire fighting safety course.

 

12.           RIGGER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall work under a foreman’s direction in rigging slings, shackles, fairleads, lifting hoists and comealongs, and all miscellaneous gear including air tuggers, slings, winches, hoist winches and other safety gears necessary for lifting, placing, positioning MATERIAL or facilities components on the platform structure.
  • He shall be involved in the erection of structural steel, prefabricated piping spools, temporary platforms and scaffolding, pipe fittings, valves and miscellaneous assembly of heavy facilities component for offshore platforms
  • He shall be involved in heavy lifts, which is normally being within the normal lifting capacity of the platform cranes, i.e., 20 to 50 tons.
  • He shall, on occasions lifts in excess of platform crane capacities are necessary, riggers will provide support and rigging required to make such lifts from support barges complete with revolving cranes.
  • He shall be involved in installing valves, flanges, and blinds, as required to support pipe installation and hydrotesting.
  • He shall be required to support platform work in handling vessel lines, mooring PC(T)SB, cables blocks and splicing wire rope.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures or in confined space and at heights above 100 feet.

  • He shall have 3 years cumulative active experience as Rigger.

13.           GENERAL HELPER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall work under a foreman’s direction in assisting in all aspects of construction work both onshore and offshore.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 3 years cumulative active experience as General Laborer.

 

14.           MECHANIC

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall be responsible for marinating, troubleshooting and repair CONTRACTOR”s tools and EQUIPMENT principally dealing with diesel engine, electrical motor, rotating machinery and the like.
  • He shall ensure CONTRACTOR’s tools and equipment are safe to be used and in good operable conditions at all time.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 3 years cumulative active experience as Mechanic diesel engine, electrical motor, rotating machinery and mechanical maintenance.
  • He shall be familiar with safe operating procedures for both offshore and onshore facilities.

 

15.           BLASTER

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall report to Painting Supervisor.
  • He shall be responsible for both external and internal blasting activities (such as but not limited to process piping, vessel/scrubber and structural surfaces).
  • He shall perform various blasting methods (such as dry/wet abrasive blasting, Ultrahigh pressure water jetting, etc) and the use of various types of abrasives (such as copper slag, aluminum slag, garnet, sodium bicarbonate, etc.).
  • He shall perform surface profile measurement.
  • He shall ensure that the blasted surfaces meet the required surface profile.
  • He shall be working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of approximately above 100 feet.
  • He shall familiar with all blasting and surface preparation EQUIPMENT and tools.
  • He shall setup and ensure safe operations of all surfaces cleaning EQUIPMENT/tools and to avoid, prevent or correct any defects occur during blasting.
  • He shall when required, assist the painter during painting operation
  • He shall be familiar with safe operating procedures for both offshore and onshore facilities.

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall be industrially qualified to IMM Part I or equivalent and able to work at offshore facilities to perform abrasive blasting (wet/dry) work as required by PC(T)SB
  • He shall have 5 years cumulative active experience as Blaster such as blasting of process pipe, vessels, structural steel, etc.

 

16.           PAINTER

Key Job Description

  • He shall report to Painting Supervisor.
  • He shall be responsible for both external and internal painting activities (such as but not limited to process piping, vessel/scrubber, equipment and structural surfaces).
  • He shall be completely familiar with paint mixing and the safe application of various generic types of coatings/ linings, particularly zinc primer, epoxy, urethane and glassflake coating.
  • He shall be familiar with painting EQUIPMENT/ tools setup and its application (both conventional and airless spray) and brush or roller application.
  • He shall be familiar with touch up coating repair.
  • He shall ensure that the coatings are apply to the require thickness (WFT & DFT).
  • He shall work effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of approximately above 100 feet.
  • He shall be familiar with painting/coating defects and able to avoid, prevent or correct these defects.
  • He shall be well versed in paint/thinner incompatibility problem.
  • He shall when required, assist the blaster during blasting operation.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall be industrially qualified to IMM Part I or equivalent and able to work at offshore/onshore facilities to perform painting work as required by PC(T)SB
  • He shall have 5 years cumulative active experience as Painter such as painting of process pipe, vessels, structural steel, etc.

17.           BLASTER – PAINTER

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall report to Painting Supervisor.
  • He shall be responsible for, familiar with and perform task per items (15) and (16) above.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall be industrially qualified to IMM Part II or equivalent and able to work at offshore facilities to perform abrasive blasting (wet/dry) and painting work as required by PC(T)SB
  • He shall have 5 years experience as Blaster-Painter such as coating of process pipe, vessels, structural steel, etc.

 

18.           TINSMITH

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall perform insulation work as required.
  • He shall be familiar with various method of fabrication, laying out and fitting metal sheeting over all types of insulation materials.
  • He shall be familiar with all his equipment/tools set up and it application.
  • He shall be able to understand technical drawings and specifications related to the services.
  • He shall be responsible for fabricating, inlaying and fitting metal sheeting on equipment such as but not limited to process piping/vessel/machinery and exhaust system. He shall responsible to the insulation material’s applied are per require thickness and specification.
  • He shall work effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of approximately above 100 feet.

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall 5 years on the job experiences in fabricating, inlaying and fitting metal sheeting on various type of equipment.

19.           INSULATOR

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall work at onshore and offshore facilities perform insulation work as required.
  • He shall be familiar with various method of inlaying out of insulation materials and fitting metal sheeting over all type of insulation materials.
  • He shall be familiar with all his equipment/tools set up and it application. He should be able to understand technical drawings and specifications related to the services.
  • He shall be responsible for inlaying of insulation materials and metal sheeting on equipment such as but not limited to the process piping/vessel/machinery and exhaust system. He shall responsible to the insulation materials applied per require thickness and specification.
  • He shall shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at height of approximately above 100 feet.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall 5 years on the job experiences in laying of insulation materials and metal sheeting on various type of equipment.

20.           ABSEILER BLASTER – PAINTER

 

Similar to Blaster-Painter as per item (17) with addition of Minimum Qualification to IRATA ABSEILING LEVEL II or equivalent.

21.           RADIOGRAPHER (RT LEVEL I)

Key Job Description

  • He shall devise radiographic techniques and conversant with radiation safety and emergency procedures.
  • He shall ensure and diligently undertake to perform strictly in accordance with the procedures established for the applicable code.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore platforms and onshore facilities if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall be familiar with offshore and onshore construction operations and working conditions principally consisting of radiography on fabrication of piping systems.
  • He shall, prior to the commencement on the WORK be subject to mock-up tests, within the scope of the certificates.  PC(T)SB shall witness all tests, and test samples shall be subject to PC(T)SB prior approval.

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling and have completed recognized formal training to be qualified as a radiographer.
  • He shall have ASNT Level I for other non destructive testing NDT inspection or equivalent.
  • He shall have 3 years experience as a qualified industrial radiographer with at least 2 years cumulative active experience in radiography work in oil and gas industries facilities.

 

22.           RADIOGRAPHER (RT LEVEL II)

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall devise radiographic techniques and conversant with radiation safety and emergency procedures.
  • He shall ensure and diligently undertake to perform strictly in accordance with the procedures established for the applicable code.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore platforms and onshore facilities if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall be familiar with offshore and onshore construction operations and working conditions.  The work consists principally of radiography on fabrication of piping systems.
  • He shall, prior to the commencement on the WORK be subject to mock-up tests, within the scope of the certificates.  PC(T)SB shall witness all tests, and test samples shall be subject to PC(T)SB prior approval.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling and have completed recognized formal training to be qualified as a radiographer.

  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall be familiar with offshore and onshore construction operations and working conditions.
  • He shall, prior to the commencement on the WORK be subject to mock-up tests, within the scope of the certificates.  PC(T)SB shall witness all tests and test results shall be subject to PC(T)SB prior approval.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 3 years experience in onshore/offshore construction inspection works.
  • He shall posses relevant training certificates in aspect of ultrasonic, dye penetrate and MPI techniques and qualified to the minimum of  CSWIP 3.4/3.9 or ASNT Level II by SIRIM/NDT Society/CSWIP or equivalent.

 

 

24.           MPI TECHNICIAN

Key Job Description

  • He shall devise MPI techniques and perform strictly in accordance with the procedures established for the applicable code.
  • He shall be required to work at offshore platforms and onshore facilities if requested by PC(T)SB.
  • He shall be capable of working effectively from scaffolding or temporary structures and at heights of above 100 feet.
  • He shall be familiar with offshore and onshore construction operations and working conditions.
  • PC(T)SB shall witness all tests and test results shall be subject to PC(T)SB prior approval.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 3 years experience in onshore/offshore construction inspection works.
  • He shall posses relevant training certificates in aspect of dye penetrate and MPI techniques. Qualified to the minimum of Level II of ASNT by SIRIM/NDT Society/CSWIP or equivalent.

 

25.           QC INSPECTOR

Key Job Description

  • He shall work under QA/ QC Engineer supervision to ensure that PC(T)SB / CONTRACTOR approved QA/QC program is implemented continuously.  This shall include fabrication and testing procedures, MATERIAL and consumable for use, and required trade skills.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 3 working experience as QC inspector
  • He shall be conversant with all welding codes, procedures and examination applicable to the relevant Codes and Standards.  In addition, he will be familiar with International Codes of practice.

 

 

26.           PLUMBER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall ensure MATERIAL complies with all relevant standards.
  • He shall provide details of plumbing layout to PC(T)SB for approval.
  • He shall cut and fit pipe lengths as per schematic layout shown in the drawings.
  • He shall locate plumbing in convenient positions to facilitate easy operation, inspection and maintenance.
  • He shall protect pipe work from being damaged or choked with debris etc. by plugging off at end of the day’s work at each stage of the work.
  • He shall, after installation, clean pipe work thoroughly and rectify any blockage or leaks.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 2 years experience in plumbing works.

 

27.           CARPENTER – JOINER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall ensure all timbers used for carpentry and joinery works are of best quality, well seasoned and free from defects.
  • He shall fix all members, doors and window frames, rails as specified in details drawings.
  • He shall frame and put together all carpentry and joining work in the best and most professional manner with all necessary mortises, tenants, housing scribings etc.

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 2 years carpentry experience.

 

28.           CONCRETOR  – FINISHER

 

Key Job Description

 

  • He shall ensure conformity of concreting materials and reinforcements with PC(T)SB specification.
  • He shall proportion and mix concrete in accordance with PC(T)SB Specification and as directed by PC(T)SB and protect concrete surface while it is setting.
  • He shall ensure proper curing of concrete prior to removal of formwork.
  • He shall provide surface treatment to honeycombed surfaces and irregularities and prepare concrete surface for rendering.
  • He shall ensure proper installation of concrete formwork, reinforcing MATERIAL, foundations bolts etc.
  • He shall prepare concrete surface, mix grout, and apply grout to large irregularly shaped areas.

Minimum Qualification

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 2 years experience as a concretor.

 

 

 

29.           TILER

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall ensure conformity of tiling materials and cement mortar with PC(T)SB specification.
  • He shall prepare and install tiles in accordance with PC(T)SB Specification or as directed by PC(T)SB and protect tiles while it is setting.
  • He shall ensure placement and arrangement of tiles accordingly and, avoid finishing irregularities.

 

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 2 years experience as a Tiler.

 

30.           BAR BENDER

 

Key Job Description

  • He shall understand requirement of minimum bend radius, development length, lap joint, construction and expansion joints etc.
  • He shall be able to read construction drawing and understand all details about reinforcement steel.
  • He shall cut and bend steel bar, fixing same in accordance with the construction drawings and protection of bar from corrosion, etc

Minimum Qualification

 

  • He shall have 10 years of schooling.
  • He shall have 2 years experience as a Bar Bender.
